Sorry Stephen Due to lack of room , pick up cabs are quite cramped , the best place for it is still behind the drivers seat in its original position . The floor of a Pick up is the same as a estate so if you think of a estate with only the front seats in the space behind the seats is quite large tho only just higher than a battery. It does come in handy , just a sod to get things out from .

I just managed to pick up a second hand battery from the breakers in eastbourne for £10 its a Halfords 063 and only 5 months old. fitted it and the car fired up instantly. none of that spluttering that the car has been doing ever since I got it. I think that old battery might have been giving me slow starting problems for a year or so without even knowing it! N

well lets just say I was in the right place at the right time when that battery came in, it was kind of a no-brainer descision. Anyway been out in the Pup today with the new seats fitted and it all seems to be going OK for once. N
