Think we've maybe got a bit of over sensitivity, guys. It seems to me that Dave was just reminding/informing folk that sometimes you can save time and money by talking to local suppliers, rather than going straight to the Mini Mafia. I don't suppose I'm alone in getting a dose of tunnel vision sometimes; we so often have to look to specialists for hard-to-find parts that we tend to think immediately of the names we know and love (?) for something straightforward, when a good general factor would be a better bet. So thanks Dave, and all the others who have thrown recommendations into this particular pot....Martin

oh and just out of interest- I use MiniSpares for most bits, Autolec for serviceable bits and wherever is cheaper for anything else...

i was hoping this thread would disapere into the forum and get lost. i must add i understand now that it was just friendly advice and have apologized to them concerned in this dispute. reading some of the above posts my concern is now i fell i have started arguments within the club I'm sorry for this. now can a moderator pull this thread from the forum before i fell any more embarised lol
