Well I thought I'd best sign up!

I'm Martin, about 4 months ago my Girlfriend Emma and I bought a 1995 SPI Cooper for her which had been partially restored (all bodywork done bar the odd little bit, but suspension is in for repair next week). Anyway, after driving it around a little I'm highly tempted to sell the current stead and get a mini myself!

I have no doubt Emma will sign herself up soon, but as we're both from Heathfield we shall be turning up to a meet or two in the near future with any luck!

Will get pics of Em's mini up soon.

I come from a background of sporting peugeots (205 gti's and 106 gti's mainly) but after almost 10 years of them I wanted something a bit different...and the mini's it! I'm ok with spanners too so the meccano kit appeal of the mini is a major draw.

as for the kit, are they gti skirts e.t.c.? If you could get me pics I could stick them up on a few forums if that would help?
