I've managed to get my grubby mits on a LH tank from an MPI right off.
My plan is to convert it to a RH tank to give me double the fuel capacity as Yummy is going back on the road, and she will be my daily drive.
Has anyone tried this before and got any advice, or does anyone know of any web links to assist.
Thanks
Jon

it is possible but you have to be good at water tight welds, maybe best to try it on another tank as a practise first
or buy a right hand tank!!!!!
there maybe sites out there but next checked

guess it can be done and as Dean says the welding needs to be good.
Had a good welder do my tank for my MGF engine project , that was based on a MPi tank. We had to watertest it and pressure it up with a airline to check for tiny pin holes in the welding . Any small holes and water would be forced out the holes under pressure. Think there are pics of it in the Studio 2 diary section.
