is there a number i could give you from the box i have to tell you what it is . I am sure its a 3.4 , no looked at it yet though really.

Its has dawned on me Si where i got that gearbox from . It was not you .
I was from the MG Metro engine I had in mk1 when it first went on road. Morspeed never collected it as a exchange unit for one they sent me.
Think the mg had done 80k , the shell bearings went but the box was working ok . Would need the once over tho me thinks.

Think that will be a 3.44 then. Count the teeth on the pinon and we can work it out.

it was screaming its nuts off everywhere in the mk1 (10's) definately 3.4
