>:(Right coming home from work last night and thought to myself ummm that petrol gauge has gone down a bit quicker than normal.
Didnt think to much about it, until this morning there was a oily/petrol patch on the road.
Had a look under the bonnet and im pretty sure its from the fuel pump area.
Any ideas, as im working tommoro morning and want to sort tommoro afternoon.
If its the pump as any one got one i can have and a gasket/or something i can make a gasket from?
Any other suggestions welcome
cheers daz.
If i dont get sorted i wont make pilgrimage run

What condition are your rubber hoses in and securing clips? That would be the first thing to look at.
Generally the pump if it leaks, is into the engine through the rubber diaphragm.

I think this might be a contagious problem. Just had a neighbour round to say that Dale's is leaking petrol too. It seems to be coming from the pipe This could be a late night

;DGot home from work today popped the bonnet to investigate, decided i would change pipes as i found some in my store. Still leaking so had a closer inspection and petrol was seeping out the top of the pump. My thanks to Simon for the new second hand pump which has cured the problem. Hope you enjoyed your lunch today si daz
