I've become a bit disappointed with Mini Spares and its sales team.
For example, I ordered a steer rack for my 1996 mpi mini. Installed it on the car without fuss. After a while I notice i had to to more three point turns rather thanaround in one etc on my drive to park up.... it was a sportspack steering rack i'd been sold. I did not request it. An assumption was made. By both parties I admit. But still!!

Oh and my clutch fiasco!!!
Injection clutch, quick easy buy as ever for Minispares....
Car would not run, ignition was to far advanced. Pinking etc.
The clutch plate is 30degree different from an SPi to an MPi. Ended up buy two clutch kits before i discovered this!!!
Consulted minispares and I've not been contacted further or seen a change on the product description.
Its simple to make it all work. The reluctor ring on the back of the flywheel just needs moving. More details on request.

I have a std one on my cooper and found that I dident need a sports one even with 7JJ13s

yes but your wheels have lots of offset so they will not rub on the inside of the wheelarch/ hinge panel bit. sportspack wheels have far less offset so they stick into the wheelarch more

Big Hammer it is then or I have heard of people reducing a std rack with cable ties / jubliee clips  dunno if that is possible though N  |

stick some tape on it. prefereably duck tape but parcel tape would be ok

The rack has a stop, my buddy Mr KC  did an article in the Mini mag about refurbing a rack, the stop is adjustable.  |

yeh i have got through 3 sets of subframe mounts. the crap things just keep breaking
