At the end of July 2006, I was one of the employees of John Cooper Works, as I am you are

Aware John Cooper Works closed its doors to the public making us all redundant, after working

For Coopers for the last 15 years being employed by the late John Cooper & with my passion for

The old Mini I have taken it upon myself to open a new venture about a mile from the old site, I have

To keep the flag flying for old Mini for the late John Cooper.

I hope I can be of some use to you and your current members and will be holding a mini show in the summer at

The Oval race Club where I race a Production B Modified Race Mini. I am also in talks to have a selection

Of Mini 7 / Miglias etc race cars there, and also I am trying to get Russ Swift to come and do a demonstration

In a Mini at the circuit, there will also be a full programme as per normal of racing including Junior Minis &

Hot Rods etc, I will also be talking to the West Sussex Mini Owners Club who I know a few Members & the Bognor Mini Club, and a few other clubs.

Please let me know if you would be interested in bringing your club along for the day? Dates to be arranged which will not clash with any other Mini events?

i used to race there, not agreat place for a car show (lack of parking and lots of dust and dirt)
