WOW, what can I say. A busy weekend. Fitted her new shock, rubber spring, knuckle joint and even did some rust prevention, all on the passenger side.

Luck I've got a destructive streak, the bush from the shock was rusted to the radius arm stud. That took four coffees, two chisels, and one big hammer.

All while Jim sat back and watched. ;D ;D ;D

THE REAL STORY



I was fitting new cones and shockers to estate on sat,just fin one side and came in for a coffee break.Phone went and it was Josie saying she was coming over to see Shirley and would be about an hour.I stripped out other side shocker,cone and trumpet and was cleaning parts up ready to refit.I had a prob with shocker bottom bush which had became sized on stud and had left to soak in good old WD,while I carried on with rest of job.
I looked up to see a rather lost little boy ( Si ) walking up drive and saying that mummy had gone shopping and could I look after him till she returned.I had heard rumour that this kid was good at breaking things so thought I know what will keep him amused and gave him the job of chiseling out old bush.It worked, kept him happy for a good hour or so.Mummy ( Josie ) came back from shopping and asked if her little boy had been good.I told her he had been a very helpful little chap and she was so pleased that she went and put kettle on and made us a nice cuppa

Thanks Si n Josie you was both a big help as I was a bit nack--d by end of day and starting to lose my rag with trumpet and knuckle joint ;D ;D ;D ;D
