hello, i am so happy i have just started a new job and found a mini based car, it very rare and only 6 were ever made, it has a tax disc in the window from 1974, just waiting for the owner of the workshop to walk round so i can ask him about it it looks like this www.beaulieu.co.uk/motormuseum/motordisplay.cfm?C=O

From the site Outspan commissioned six of these advertising vehicles between 1972 and 1974. They used them extensively for advertising campaigns in this country, France and Germany. One example is still in use in South Africa. The basis of the car is the versatile Mini, though a specially fabricated chassis is used. At over 30mph, there was a tendency for these vehicles to roll! N :-)

I have been in one about 10-15 years ago took it round a go cart track! was good fun as the well roll esp when fully loaded

still waiting for the owner of the workshop to come round, i had a good look to day, and the keys are still in there.
shame i can not drive it way as the engine is missing but it does have hardy spicer joints.
i will post more when i find out, i see if i can get some photos for everyone
