Hi all

I thought I would join the bandwagon and start a diary for Bogey and his up-coming facelift.

He is off tomorrow to the same place Hank was treated and will be gone for up to 6 weeks

He needs a new front end, rear valence, rear inner waist rail and doorskins. Oh, and the dent in the boot and rear needs sorting. He is then going to be treated to a full respray ;D

Here are some pics as a reminder of his bad bits

Jim has kindly offered to drop round and take some photos of the work in progress, and I have promised to visit too ;D

I have a new grille/surround and bumpers on order from Minispares as well as new rubber seals for the doors and rear side windows.

I have removed the seats, doorcards and carpet to give them a good clean up...........and I did it all by myself (almost) ;D I also swept up the rest of the glass from when the windscreen shattered last year.

Please wish Bogey luck with his surgery. He will be showing off his new body at the Riviera Run.........unless I get him back sooner ;D
