Right,

Below is a list of parts that I require for the various mini projects I have going on at the moment. If you have anything that might do please let me know I may do a swap for things on the list or part with me hard earned cash.

For the pickup: -

Front seatbelts (mine are static so I’m after more modern ones)
Front door check strap
Front window catches
Early pickup rear light (alternatively a van / estate one to make a pair)
Head lining (front ½ of a MK1/2 will fit I think) - condition not important as will be used as a template
Door cards (again MK1/2 will do) - condition not important as will be used as a template


For the saloon: -

O/S/R interior arch trim (in black)
C-Panel interior trim (without the seatbelt holes)
Alloy tank to fit in the boot (8+ Gal)
2x A-panels
2x Door hinge repair panels
Working battery and tray (any size as I will be doing a flat boot floor)

Bits available to swap: -

2x 1¾ HIF carb from metro
Weber 28/36 DCD carb with old K&N filter and manifold needs throttle linkage set-up (east fix)
Mini Cos rear spoiler
Fortech body kit (will be sad to see this go as with it go my space frame mini dreams)
1 6x13” Revolution wheel with correct sleeve nuts (needs new tyre)
1 6x13" Superlight (no tyre fitted)
4 5x10” Dunlop D10 Alloys with Good 165/70/10 tyres
1 5x10” weller wheel (needs new tyre)
MK2 metro front rad & plumbing
New Halfords plastic Ariel
Yazaki Volt Meter
Used stainless bumper (trimmed ends 1/2" for 13's but doesent notice)

Will probably add more to the list as I think of what I need

Sorry I haven't got any 12" wheels or tyres. got a couple of part worn 13's though!

I'm not actually looking for doors just looking for the door cards if you have them perhaps I could borrow them to make a template and then I could get them back to you???

What plumbing have you got for the Metro .

Only in the thinkinking about stage at the moment but would be interested to know if you have top and bottom rad hoses and the metal pipework , expansion tank and may need a thermostat housing , not 100% sure on the stat housing yet .

Do all the hoses go into the same side of the rad , some did , some did not.

Hi Dave,

I think I have the top / bottom hoses and the pipe with jubliee clips etc. Also the headder tank can confirm next time i'm down me lockup.

Yes window clips indeed... I think I only need one as I have 3 of 1 hand and 1 of the other hand. but will probably get a whole set if possible

i have had a good look round and have not got a pick up light but have what i think are a pair of van rear lights i will bring them along on sunday if your going?

a chap on ebay is selling a pair of the correct rear lamp len's for our age pick ups for £45 and they are used , plus one has a crack . If you want a laugh look under classic car parts and Rover p4, there is only one page .

Am watching them, there are plenty of van ones going for £5 a go but the last couple of pickup ones have made over £120 a pair.

I am planning to go but all depends on the weather (am currently a fair weather mini fan) how much do you want for them?
