Mini Service and Repair

Dear all

I am the owner of a rather sad looking Mini Advantage (1987) and am looking for an economical garage to go to in Eastbourne for service and repair (new front sub frame, sill welding etc).

I used to use Selmeston Motors who had a wealth of experience of working on minis but they have sadly disappeared. So I should like to find similar in or around Eastbourne if possible to help get my Mini back on the road, whilst I spend all my limited spare time trying to decorate and sell my flat.

Any ideas anyone?

hankham motor works by stone cross are good. me and my mate take our minis there the blokes there like classic car like minis and mg's. and it at good prices. they do welding but nothing big a odd sill is fine. if you need any big welding done eg a whole front end . go to see sean who is between the to car sale at stone cross across the road from the windmill. he is cheap and knows about minis.

I can recomend Sean as he helped me do my flip front and all the spraying before I learnt to weld myself.

you could try john and myself as we are just opening the new workshop here at minibizz in piddinghoe near newhaven ,we have a dedicated spray and bodywork area and also dedicated workshops with two poster lift , we also share many years of experiemce in all types of mini work including resorations minor and major welding . painting and modifications of all types and were quite competitive too , plus we like to have a chat over a coffee and have time for any fellow mini enthusiasts who call by
