Anyone know where i can find decent pics of original minis. Looking for pics of mark 2 Austin Cooper s'. Cant seem to find any on the net.

if you want a pic of a mark 2 cooper s ask simon( the bloke who live around the corner from were my mini is ) if you can take some pictures of his. its in concorse condition and a engine bay you could eat your dinner off.
ask him i dont think he will mind.

Hi yea I've found some pics using google but its a bit limited as most cars are modified in some way. I have a wide slat grille on my car at the mo which I think is fine for a morris cooper S, but I want mine to be an austin s lookalike, i think it should be the narrower slat grille. Looking in miniworld this month theres an austin cooper but that has the wide slat grille, maybe different to the s I dunno . Also want a good pic of the rear, badges/ lights and that Fussy eh Stephen

both grills are the same 8 slat, only dif on front is badge, rea does not have rev lights, rear badges different bottom right hand corner 1275 badge hope it helps

as dr says all the mk2 coopers had the same grille. the mk1's were differant. The Morris had wide slats like mine and the Austin had more narrow slats. The mk3 cooper was differant again as that had the same grill as all mk3 normal minis. d

cool, that helps a lot, have managed to find a pic of the back of one too. Dave is it ok for the MOT to not have reversing lights on a '68?

As the resident EDMC mot tester I can tell you that :
Reverse lights are not required for a MOT.
Cars after 1980 need a fog lamp and it must have one fitted to the drivers side or middle of the vehicle.
Side repeaters are required from April 1986. Anymore mot questions let me know Dave
