It shows it's a mini stock cam. So sights are showing that when you said it was a race engine maybe be right.
Cam kicks in at 3000-7000. So not really for day to day driving. But will be fun once it kicks in.
Is it still in usable condition. You could sell it and easy get your money back for that engine.

I think your best of selling it and getting you mini back on the road then when your up and running with the 998 put the money from the cam towards a good 1275

thats my plan run with the 998 thats in there one its all up and running do vody work then bigger engine

You make more money selling parts of that engine separate. Block , crank, rods and pistons., cam. Etc. But will take longer to do.
Selling it as one lump your get much less money but it's gone in one go.
Cam wise. It could be worth £0 - £50 ish. Depends on the condition , it will need a good look over and measuring up. Has it got a slot are a star shape where the oil pump goes.

thx mate went up took it all apart now all on ebay www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141083956313?redirect=mobilefew items so look at other items I got all the piston rings moveing got someone that want to come have look and offer on engine and piston whats is a offer I should accept or look for I dont no anything about it lol |

after a few days off haveing fireing problums works out the pipe on bottom of carb had srunk and was not letting fuel in new carb o way and a temp bit of cow boy work and she running engages all gears sound a bit lumpy but need tuneing so hopefully be on road very soo
