Starting to regret buying this one. its a 1275 spi mayfair was owend by a old lady. it has full history with only 58 thou on the clock although service history is great what about genral mantanence? the rubber dounuts had collapsed all around, so started to do these today and found a number of other problems. the front shock looks like its been half eaten, ball joints nuts are so rusted on im going to cut them off, but then 18 years old and never been touched. i must be mad to be doing this again. I have just finished welding a SPI for a lad in Denton, now that was cracked and crusty as hell and it will be coming back next year for full inner and outer sills plus floor pans and half a toeboard. SPI's suck for rust.

this was just a little of what was lurking. The inner wings were cracked from the subby cutout up to the top of the inner wing both sides. Oh and a massive hole in the boot as well. All of this in one year since the last MOT!!!!!!

Nice i have holes like that lol just sat in the garage for hours and rebuilt overhauld one suspenshon, corner i forgot how fiddly these things are it makes it harder when you have got hands like shovels
