Jentree classic cars
www.jentreeclassiccars.co.uk/#2
paul kindly came along to our club meet (jan13) to introduce him self and let us know what his company can do.
alot of people will remember seeing them on the potts march estate, opposite the mercedes garage but they have now moved to east hoathly into a bigger workshop
they are known for doing alot of MG's etc, in the past a few people have had some work done by them, but recently they have started to do more and more minis, which is good.
at the moment they are working on a 1959 mini which was a total basket case, and the only peice which was not rot was the roof, it is now back to a soild shell and in primer
as for alot of people know money is tight, and some people dont have the tools or the skills to take on some parts of there rebuild, so paul was saying that they will help by slowly rebuilding your car over a period ( eg 2-3 years) with you paying slowly over that time, so as you pay they will work, and by the end of it your have a finished car , this can be a full rebuild or even part build , those little bits you hate, or cant do. etc
he has also offered a workshop tour to the club, for a group of us to go up, and see what they offer and the work they do.
this would have to be a saturday due to alot of peoples work commitments. and morning as i sure he said they are open till midday, they only run a skeleton staff saturday be could arrange more staff to be in to help answer and question we may have
if people are interested maybe this is something we should take him up on, and get it organised,
he has also said he can donate raffle prizes to the club etc
its a good FREE trip if anyone is interested
