heya guys, for sale i have a perfect 1991 mini carb which has come off a working car so does not need a rebuild etc. will sell the inlet manifold with it £50

Not wishing to ruin your sale, but I've seen some horrendously worn carbs fitted to Minis - if it's working doesn't necessarily mean it won't need a rebuild. Most of them do after a few years' use!

You may want to say what type of carb it is, and what type of engine it came from.
Hiff 38 Hiff 44. These have square bottom where the float chamber is Hs2. (1.1/4) Hs4. (1.1/2) Hs6. (1.3/4) these have a float bowl to the side
The size is the size if hole where the butterfly is if you look from the air filter end.
This will help you sell it better.

If its from a 91 Cooper then it should be a hif 44
