i have for sale a complete and running yamaha R1 engine.
its 998cc, 4XV it is a carb model
this engine is complete and can be heard running,
i was going to use it and put it in the elf but now changed my mind
i have the original frame and the V5C which is in my name and all engine and frame number match the V5C, so this bike is not a write off or a stolen bike
i have done the hard work with the wiring loom and by passed the bike lock system which was not easy to work out.
i have a set of clocks with 21 odd tho on the clock if i can remember rightly
the bike was originally owned by a bike shop who looked after it and serviced it regular, the crucial service at around 19000-21000 miles has been done, ( bit like a cam belt change on a car). plus oil and filter change before it came off the road
i dont want no time waster, serious buyers
£1000 no offers, this is what its cost me to get all the bits and get to the stage it is at, so i am not making any money from this
bare engine alone on ebay go for £600 with out any of the other parts. which buying separate will end out cost well over £1000 then hoping they work!!!!!
