Hi All,

Noticed a few lines about Membership fees.

As Current Vice Chairman here is my tuppence worth.

If memberships are not paid then the club cant perform certain tasks,

It is advisable that these are paid so that the YOUR club can carry on as it has done since we introduced membership fees.

We have never raised the the fee, although if memory serves me right it has been discussed yet never acted upon.

So for the good of your club, get those fees paid, we now have a new membership secetary, so this side of things should be back on track soon.

A few things to ad

It's been a bit laps in years gone by in checking/making sure people are members before letting them have the advantages of a paid members ( we are a friendly club and relied on people's honestly not to do this )

It's got to the stage this year where it needs to stop, it's not fair on the people who have paid, it's only £5 for the year that's less than 10p a week.

As it stands at the moment we don't have enough members to even cover half the costs of the club liability insurance this year ( which we need to take part in events, show, club stands, our own sercurity) Let alone pay for other things in the club through out the year

It does not take much to work out that if carries on, in a year on 2 the club will be broke.

Sorry for the rant but it's something that needed to be said before it gets too late. We have know about it be we have not said anything as we are a friendy club and being polite.

Get those subs in people, remeber no subs no clubs simples!

it seems bizarre that you can not pay subs and still post replies, unless exceptional circumstances exist no subs no posts. ( seems harsh bit why not)
