Good evening EDMC,
As you are aware Matt has stood down as club chairman, so firstly i would like to say a very big thankyou to him for all his hard work since taking on the role, and wish him and Lisa good luck with there New plans.
This obviously has left the club without a chairman for the remainder of the year until the AGM in December.
I feel that is my duty to stand in as temporary Chairman for the next 2 meetings until a new comittee is formed in December.
If any body has a problem with this please do not hesitate to air your opinions, this is your club at the end of the day.
Please be aware that i have not been activley involed last couple of years so, im hoping to get up to speed by the next meeting.
I look forward to seeing you all at the next meet,

Just to add
I am Meeting up with Matt and Lisa on Friday to get myself upto speed with the goings on regarding meeting notes etc, whos doing what, whats planned etc

Hi Matthew and myself have had it a bit rough over the last few months but we have kept doing are roles and not brought our personnel problems into it.Something happen a few days ago that really kick us in the teeth when we was already emotional.We reacted on the spur of the moment.We have had a few texts asking us to reconsider this has made as see how many good friends we have got at edmc and one of the texts made me cry.We love edmc love doing stuff for the club and it has been a place to escape are personal problems.With that Matt and myself would like to withdraw our resignation and return to our roles and see what happens at agm.
I AM ASKING MEMBERS AND COMMITTEE IF THEY WOULD BE HAPPY WITH THIS?

I can't count the number of times that personal problems (ie women) I've thought about giving up on Minis and edmc. Maybe a bit different for me as I've literally got my whole life tied up in them, but anyway... don't give up!
The club's about more than just a rusty little car and it's always a shame to loose any members, let alone those who help to hold things together for everyone else, and make a d**n good breakfast!
I think maybe you've put too much pressure on yourselves with running the club. Doesn't really matter as long as we're meeting up every so often, going to shows and staying mates. We never used to 'monthly minutes', official committees and whatnot.
I think some of the fun has been lost along the way to try and formalise everything? Something's definitely changed over the years, maybe as people have left for one reason or another, so don't leave as well! Anyway, I've gone off on an unintentional rant.

Hi guys, to most of the club outside "the inner circle" eveything seemed great with a good atmosphere at shows and club meets(when we can get there!) really sorry to hear about private issues , but as far as I am concerned you both do a great job, stick with it if you can but ease off the gas! if you know what I mean, all the best.
