are you sure you want 10.5:1, at that ratio, you will get pinking and will have to run it on super unleaded or high octane petrol,
you will find your have a better engine if you run it at 9.75:1

Can second that. The book you're following was written many years ago when fuel quality was better than today, plus a hell of a lot cheaper!
