I was going to add grinding calipers to Tubes and Spacers but I thought that silly idea had already gone out of peoples heads so i did not mention it .
I had a blow out in when my Jet Black was about a year old . I had a puncture and a tyre company put a tube in . I was living at home in Telscombe at the time and had a girlfriend living in Friston . On the way home very late at night i was at full chat bombing down that last long hill before the steep one down into Cuckmere and the bloody tube blew out . Extremely scary stuff, luckily I had not got to the bend when it blew and kept it on the road. I have not fitted a tube since .
As a MOT tester and having over 20 years in the motor trade I advise against tubes and grinding bloody calipers, does not matter what others have done .

I interviewed a Falken tyres engineer last week and asked about the inner tube thing. He said that the friction between the inner tube and the ribs of the inside of the tubeless tyre can cause overheating and tyre failure. Also that they had a customer with leaky but original wheels and he ran inner tubes without problem. They put 'tubeless' on the side for a reason - means that it's up to you if something goes wrong.
