I bought Sputnik from MiniWorld back in the autumn. Once mine's done I'm hoping to have him tidied up and back on the road again. Currently off the road in storage, I reckon it would go through an MOT with a few hundred spent on the bodywork but then I'd have to insure and tax it so there's no rush at the moment. So watch this space...for a while.  |

Ah , wondered what happened to that . I remember the mag buying it .
Its had engine rebuilds , a crash on The Italian Job I think it was and I am sure the body work has been tarted up once as well .
I gave Matt loads of old Mags , sure its debut was in one of them.

There's an article about it being built at Longbridge back in 1996, I'm trying to find the issue. Maybe one day I'll scan in all the major articles on the car - would be an interesting read as this thing has done some serious mileage and traveled all over Europe
