Anyone know any decent local tyre fitters who wouldn't barry up my split rims? I don't know any trustworthy places in Eastbourne, especially after a certain theme-park-sounding company near Gardners Books bodged up my Revolutions

Eastbourne Tyre Co behind staples are excellent but expensive for fitting tyres but they dont mess up.
The fitted runflats on my latest set of BBS split rims no problems

i second that, old town tyres in westham, always use , so do my parents, normal around £10 a wheel, fit, balance, valve.
they have fitted 2 run flats on my car and never damaged my alloys, plus thye use the stick on weights on the inside so they dont damage to edge with the hammer on ones, plus it looks better
and there just up the road from you,

Cool yea, I've used them for Sputnik and the daily drive but they messed up on both. Went back twice with the Clio and still vibrates at 60mph. Sputnik the same but were cheap.
Will see how much Eastbourne Tyre Co charge... trying to stretch a 165 to a 6.5 inch rim so I need someone who knows exactly what they're doing

I had a set of Revolutions with new yoko a032's and a new set of MB's with falkens . I wanted the tyres swapped round.
Until they farquared up my new Revolutions I would have said Arrow tyres in Newhaven . I have been using them 20 years .
However...... they fitted the tyres to the MB's and did not mark them . Actually they put the Falken tyres on the MB'S when I bought them 4 years ago .
Speak to Neil the boss 01273 515128 .
A full paying customer has some comeback . I was paying mates rates ( was news to me ) so I had no come back.

Took my Revolutions to Chessington tyres and the guys were complete numptys telling me my tyres were too small for the rim and they didn't understand the concept of revers tyre fitment, one of my rims has a minor battle scar. I had to stop the guys before they ripped my tyre in half! Dave of 'DAVES TYRES' Bexhill, knew exactly what to do and they were put on no trouble
