Stick on number plate is ok with me , I would pass it and I have confirmed that with the boss .
Keep the plates the same as they should be and stuck on the front panel . ie: black letters on white for the front and black on yellow for rear . Usually the stick ons have reflective backgrounds as well .
All we are interested in when testing the number plate lamp is whether or not it is working and whether it shows white light to the rear or not. We do not have a meter that measures the amount of light emitted . Obviously we do not carry out MOT tests in the dark so we do not actually know whether the bulb fitted emitts enough light to adequately illuminate the plate or not. The lamp does need to be fitted close to the plate of course . No good screwing a lamp to the rear bumper and expecting it to pass a MOT . Common sense prevails .
So: Ok for stick ons . There must be at least one working number plate lamp bulb adequately located and not showing white light to rear .
I have been thinking about fitting combined number plate lamps and number plate screws that are available . Save having the big ugly Mini number plate lamp on the boot . I think Motrax sell them . They are motorcycle accessorie specialists .
;D

I do not recomend doing this at all as it was such a pain in the However it looks exactly how i wanted it. The worst bit was getting the harazds working which all in all took 3 relays. Next stage moving on to the speedo and then everything else is ready to bolt in. hopefully. ;D ;D ;D

What made it such a nightmare, surely it's the same as using the standard toggle switches? Only I'm going for a similar set up
