Hi guys
It has been suggested at the comitee meeting that paid members will be identified on the forum. The plan is to put your own membership number under your forum name. Me and dean will be trying to get this sorted soon. One of the only problems we have come up against is knowing peoples forum name and putting it to there real name on my membership database.
If I am unsure of your forum name I will set up a list of real names and if you can just let me know what your forum name is either via pm or carrying on this thread it will be greatly appreciated.

Beanie I will make you an admin in a moment. there is paid up members group so you just need to experiment.
I am going to make a test user and experiment myself

Right Daz, Alan
Here's what you need to do click on the user name of the member you want to modify e.g. testuser1
you will then be presented with their profile. click the link at the top of the box saying modify profile.
you will then be presented with Account Information scroll all the way down the page to Admin Functions and change the member group from "none" to "paid up member"
DONT test this on your own account If you look at your own profiles your member group will be "Administrator" if you change this to "paid up member " you will lose your admin privlages and I will have to reinstate them

this section does not seem to come up i have the admin section however the memeber group option does not appear??

cant work it out do you have to be a moderator? would be easier If i could do it as would save transfering all the membership info to some one else. Cheers for your help  |

right i have been reading through the help line lol and i think if it is possible if you can alter my restrictions for admin as the goups category is blocked and the help sections is really handy if you get stuck lol
