No progress worth taking pictures of, but the engine has been moved from work to home, fitted nicely in the boot of the vw. but it rocked around a bit and punctured a hole in the back of the golf!!!!
But atleast its home. hopefully the weather will get a bit better so s*-*t can get done!!

I thought 'Car Crazy' did stick on number plates in Hastings, say it's for a caravan and you should be fine. Ant  |

Stick on numberplate was from a guy called 'roofless' on theminiforum.co.uk although i think he's got a website too.

So was fitting new headstuds today from minispares that was all fine, layed the rockers ontop for a mock up, head went on fine. then it came to the rockers, didnt go on. couldnt work it out, so took the head off, then studs, and it looks as if 2 of the longer studs are bent! not happy! :@

Just ordered a lightweight flywheel. the 4.5kg one from minisport ( i know everyone disilkes minisport because of postage but they've allways been good to me)
threw some red on the 1275. fitted the new water pump. still not sure what im doing about the 2 bent studs, might just give them a tap with a mallet, or see if i can fit them after as its only a small discrepincy... kinda.
undecided whether i should get a track pass. dont know whether i can get it ready, set up and running in a month! but we'll see!
