Going back a few days... Pauls building up all the brake system I cleaned up the engine to cream cake it up I'd flushed the gearbox for a couple of nights but couldn't remove the all of the remains from Garys broken crown wheel and pinon. So I took the gearbox apart for a deep clean. Pleased I did as I found all these other broken bits. Plus the Syncros baulk rings had worn out. As Paul keeps calling me destructive I bought new life to these old standard oil pickups... ..into a new central oil pickup. Then put that pipe into our rebuilt gearbox. Went for a 2.7diff which we find works a treat on grass. Keeps the wheel spinning to a minimum. Pauls beefed up the floor pan to handle the solid mounts. Complete subframe is now inplace with new bearings, ball joints and blinged hubs. All hooked up to the steering and Paul even finished the handbrake. Next is to put the engine and gearbox together
