thanks lisa ;D, i went with stripes & not just stars, i preferred that design the same as you did (thanks for helping me make my mind up) & i feel it was the right choice! heres some updated pics: chris removing part of the inner wings fitting her new removable front end & removing old cream stripes, which unfortunately will need new ones (probably silver) as old ones marked paint work roof took ages, not only to do but to decide how i wanted it, changed my mind just a few times, lol! bonnet to straighten slightly still & put new bonnet trim on birds eye view cant make my mind up whether to leave her name as myj or something abit nicer, anyone got any suggestions?

Great job there! I was worrid you were going to fit a plastic flip front. The access with a flip front it so worth the effort. How are you going to support the front of the subframe? Steel ones are so much better, I do reccomend fabricating replacement inner wings to stop the road muck getting to the engine bay.

thanks si & tristan, no plastic front here si, i will leave that to barbie we've used brace bars from minispares made from box section for the subframe, although needed modifying to fit properly. we're hoping to reuse inner wings & bolt them on for protecting engine bay not got much time left if we want to take her to rolling road, see weather not too good at the weekend, burger it!
