the halfords at crawley seem to give them to anyone with engineer or technician written on their airport i.d.  also makes it cheaper for an oil change on a boeing 747... |

they gave me a card without looking at any id, i had my tester card with me but did not need it.

I went to the Halfords in Eastbourne today to buy a spanner to adjust the clutch throw out nut on Bogey ;D Being a bit of a spanner myself I wasn't sure which size I needed  but the very nice man let me take a couple outside to Bogey to try them out ;D ;D ;D ;D Being the honest person that I am, I returned the ones that didn't fit and paid for the one that did ;D I wish some of my "customers" were that honest  |

well you get to know who is not likely to bring stuff back and you give them a 50p tape measure instead!
