Finally got round to changing the brakes disc's and pads plus a service today!
Spark Plugs - Went ok!
Air Filter - Went ok!
Fuel Filter - Went ok! (however that looked like it hadn't been done for years.
Oil Filter and oil change - Went ok!
Passenger side Disc's and Pads - Went ok!
This is where it went wrong!
Drivers side Disc's and Pads..... Brake caliper! One of the pistons is buggered! Phoned Ajay, APS and CAT in Hastings and £43 ish and none on the shelf!
However!!!
Phoned Gerald Dale and they had one still attached to a Sub-frame etc and went over there and they took it off the sub-frame and gave it to me for the grand total of £10. So managed to get it done. Also changed the front and side indicators to clear ones.
Heres the confession.... When saying i got all this done... Not strictly true... Good friend Ben Westgate did most of it and i did the simple bits.
