Hi all As everyone seems to have an ongoing or secret project, I have decided to join in ;D Over the next few weeks I will be learning to weld and do other bodywork repairs. We have already spent money buying fibre glass, filler and jockey wheel. I have also ordered replacement rear valence and corner panels. Total spent so far........£50 ;D There are other bits and pieces I will need over the next few weeks, so if you have any of the following that you could donate (this is a club trailer) please let me know. ;D So far, I need:- Left and right hand van door seals 2 rear van window seals rear lights, please see pics lock for rear doors cash ;D I only started this project today and so far have only managed to give it a good clean, which improves it 100% ;D Here are some before and after pics ;D

Hey Rachel,
If you want any help with the welding give me a bel. I got the welder in the garage + loads of spare sheet metal etc.
Regarding the rear light syou can get away with using those lights for the moment although it would look better with the proper van lights on it. I have one van light on the back of my pickup which I will swop I can get another van light off ebay or at a show if you like to make a pair.

Rain has stopped play for another day so I thought I would update my diary instead. ;D That horrible white gloss has now been removed from the main body of the trailer and much of the rubbing down has been done ;D The doors, which are solid, have been rubbed down and filled......and rubbed down and filled........and still need more filler.........nearly there Thanks to Paul who came round today and helped me examine the underside. After poking a few more holes in the rust, he measured up to fabriacate new outer sills, and marked off the areas I need to cut away ;D Unfortunately we managed to break the jockey wheel off in the process ;D This can be fixed with a couple of new bolts ;D Looking at the latest pics, I am reminded of Jim's wise words to me when Bogey was undergoing his facelift............."It's going to look worse before it gets better" ;D I am sure you will agree.........it can't look much worse ;D On the plus side........the new rear and corner valence panels have arrived ;D
