its alive again!!! turned out the breakdown on the m25 a month or so back was caused by a badly blown head gasket (second one so far). Fixed that yesterday with a new copper one with help from dad and its driving again Not running too well but i'm just pleased to have it mobile- Wouldnt want to put it away for the winter as a non-runner

were was that you were driving some country roads
your head maybe slightly out of being flat, have it likely shimed to flat it off the bloke down sussex engine centre does it for about £36 or you may get it cheaper.

I used another head with some wet and dry underneath to get it as flat as possible without spending money on it, seems to work ok at the moment. i didn't want to spend too much on an engine with worn out bores.
video is beachy head hill at end of seafront btw....looks kinda slow from that

Looks pretty nice with the silver roof Stephen ;D, you got yourself a new set of wheels or just resprayed them from gold and silver to all silver or is that how you want them to look with new roof !?! Looks nice though mate !! Ant

No i just photoshopped it, i quite like it at the moment and the laquer needs doing anyway so i might do it before next season

i dont think theyd last long with the weight of my front doors I wonder if you can have external and internal hinges or they open at different rate? I believe they open in different ways so part of the external hinge would have to be sliding or just for show
