;Dfor starters there is 2 less spotlights to carry, not as much spoiler to carry, and most probable less metal to carry ie tin worm. so mr A-series engine wont have as much to pull, And he got a different cylinder head recent new set of points, sparks, condensor, coil, ht leads, bottom hose, heater tap, rad cap, and no blobs of solder in rad neck. i know, to put everybodys minds at rest i will take a train and meet you all there ;D

Renault was done today, and done a lot more miles since my last post, and again seems to be no problems, these miles included a lot of dual carrige way at a consatnt speed of between 60 - 65 mph, a bit of town driving, d some more sitting in traffic.
Also today i brought my self a new set of shades, oil, camping mat, and bargin of the day was a set of jet washers for a £1 at pound land, thse were neaon light up ones, but decided not to wire them up, didnt want to drain more power away. ;D

i had the exact symtoms when i reassembled and rebuilt my float chamber along with the exhaust manifold. i had to turn the mixture screw about 2 and a half turns rich before the car was idling without the choke. also had same stalling problem aswell.
