Standing down

Dear Club,

I would like to announce that I am going to stand down as Events Co-ordinator. Castle Combe being my last event as it is the last in the show season .
I feel that I cannot at the moment put into the role what I would like to and feel that perhaps someone else could .

Thanks to all of you who believed me when I said driving nearly 700 miles in 4 days , staying in cold tents and not sleeping was a good idea, when I suggested we went to The Riviera Run in 2006 . Think we all have agreat time down there .
The same goes for Castle Combe to a certain extent, said it was along way but worth it . We all had good fun last year and I am sure we will this year .

As Dave has decided to stand down as co-ordinator, i will be looking after the role until the AGM,

I am hoping to draw up a list of events for next year to pass on to the next co-ordinator just to help them in their new role.

I would like to also announce that I will not be putting my name forward for re-election as club Web Editor at the AGM.

I stepped into the breach by default earlier in the year and with recent 'mini' projects and oversea work commitments have struggled to find evenings to update the web site. Thankyou to all those who have contributed to one of the most up to date club web sites on the net.

I do wish to remain in the commitee in another role, but wish to give other club members the oportunity to step forward first.

The role requires at least two evening a month. All you would require is a PC no more than two years old with a broadband internet. I would provide 'Dreamweaver' software and training/assistance one evening a month, maybe a bit more to get em going. I would remain an 'assiatant web editor' if welcomed/voted.
