Hi my name is lucie and i have just become a member!
I became the proud owner of a British open classic two weeks ago. ;D
My husband cant see why i have this connection with mini's!
I say it's just like marmite you either love it or hate it!!!!
He need's a little body work doing(mini not husband)but he is great to drive.
So hello everyone and we hope to meet up soon.

it was parked on my road for a couple of days a few weeks back
rust patch about the size of a coaster

Hi all,well have had many problems with my mini !but now he is running again :)We live in lewes so depending where you saw us it could be me!as he does have some rust on the drivers door.Looking for someone that could give me a price on a paint job actually.
Know anyone?

Like anything you really do get what you pay for . Got a Mini in at work that has the front wings put on so badly you could almost pull them off with you bare hands.
Try the bodyshop in the garage where i work.
Proper oven , latest paint mixing and water based paint scheme.
In theory all paint should now be going over to water based.
Anyway , if its a quick cheap job done by a bloke in a lock up behind a plastic sheet we are not for you.
