Hey there
Im 16 (17 in 4 weeks), live in northiam, have a 998cc mayfair (cooper look-a-like) and thought hmm why not join the local mini club! so here i am...just here to meet other guys who love minis and love to have fun with them!
Ever since i was about 9 i wanted one, and then, about 6 weeks ago i found my baby. i persuaded dad to take me along to see it and it was love at first sight, had a quick look round and then went in for the kill! picked her up for £1000, not bad for a 1990, near perfect condition with less than 70k on the clock..
On her atm she has... ultralight 13" wheels / small steering wheel / chrome handles / dtm exhaust.......etc. Soon hopeing to get new k&n airfilter, and just ordered new headunit and speakers.
anyway, thats a bit about me and the mini. hope to come to regular meets and events, and meet some of you guys soon!

im waiting for the big day, and i can't wait! booked up my lessons last night  atm im just playing around with the mini and tinkering. new headunit came today.... very confusing! had to make a post in the technical section |

Welcome Chris. Sounds like a class mini in the making, ;D 998's are great for insurance and a lot of fun. The 13" inch wheels look great on mini's ;D and the extra grip in the corners is unsurpassed  ... but they do have a dark side  ;D Look forward to see you at the next club meet? ;D |

hi like u i have allways wanted a mini but haveing 4 kids i had to have a large car .But now they have got older and dont want to come out with us anymore i got my mini about 8 weeks ago and she is fab and great fun to drive.So hope to c u on the road soon.Lisa

me again! well the day came a month ago when i passed my test and could finally drive my mini on the road. and well.... its awesome!! being able to drive just makes everything better  . i have a c**p day at work but then get in the mini, drive home, and am sure to have a smile on my face when i get there. ;D anyway, what i was going to say is that now ive been bombing around in my mini for a bit, i wana get more involved with the club!! maybe come to a few club meets and defo go to some shows (i need cheap parts!!). anyone got any guidance for a club noob?? lol chris |

Well done too! Another pass, welcome to the open road! ;D Thats the mini sumed up for me too. It puts a smile on your face driving to a from work. There are a couple of events on the way before the next club meet, check out the newletter for August on the web site. |
