Hello to you all,
Nice to see we have a local club for this sort of petrol fetishism! I'm currently trying to sell my other cars (hopefully both of them will go soon!) and when I do I'm hoping to get myself a Mini and join the club. Does anyone know of any for sale locally? Ideally I'd want either a 1275cc or a 1000cc, T&T and less than a grand. Once I get my get my hands on one hopefully I'll be seeign you all down the Queen!

I'd love to turn up on a club night but I would feel a bit foolish with a 2.9 Ford Granada! Granted, it does have the very cheeky Cosworth V6 in it but it drinks more fuel than a fleet of Mondeos (it averages out at about 19mpg!) but I'd still feel a bit of a fraud. Do you know if he'd be interested in some sort of swap deal?

Thanks for that. I wasn't really expecting him to go for a swap deal of any kind but shy kiddies get no sweets and all that! If you could ask him to send me some details of his car and perhaps a few pictures too I'd really appreciate it. Do you know offhand what size the engine is?
