I think it is a cat replacement pipe, although Ive never had a mini with a cat before so not 100% ::)its in stanless steel and its made by play mini, so quite a good one. £15

I have a carb and a cat on my 1275 . It does not need the cat for the mot either so no worries removing the cat for the pipe and failing the mot emmisions.
Is it about a foot long with a flange at each end?

it linked up to a play mini back box so it has a flange on one end and a straight pipe at the back

Hello no ive fitted the backbox to my car, it came off a later mini than mine so i bought a stainless intermidiate pipe and took this off..cant find any batteries for the camera at the mo but its just a cat removal pipe in excellent condition as it always will be, being stainless.
